Shoedasters in the Snow. Blistering winds, heavy rain and excessive amounts of discomfort.
Being very well in the thick of winter, you’d think comfort and functionality would be at the top of everyone’s list when it comes to winter footwear.
Apparently not.
Someone said this winter….no names. “I just wanna get the cutest boots that go with my camo pants; they all fit the same anyway, they’re boots!”
In my opinion – a disaster waiting to happen. When you’re picking snowboard boots based on their “cuteness” in relation to your snowboard pants, you will likely find that their amazing cuteness becomes absolutely meaningless when you’re sliding down a snowy slope with feet that feel like they’re in clogs (also become increasingly more painful the more toeside turns you make).
When it comes to snowboard boots, please choose based mostly on comfort and how they feel (weight important) – then the color…they’ll probably be covered by snow 75% of the time anyway, right?
As far as some boots that seem to have their stuff down (just my own personal opinion, friends’ testimonials and sparse research)…
